Begin Your Journey
Not Sure Where To Start?
You don't have to have it all figured out before you begin.
Maybe you know you want to feel different, move more, rest more, reconnect with yourself, or try something outside of traditional talk therapy, but you’re not quite sure which experience makes sense.
That’s okay.
Curious about MBW but not quite sure what to expect?
Start here. These are some of the questions people often have before joining an experience, booking coaching, or stepping into one of our wellness collections.
If you’re thinking about therapy but feeling unsure, you’re not alone. Whether this is your first time considering therapy or you’ve been carrying questions for a while, this page is here to help you feel more grounded in your next steps.
I’m new to this kind of wellness work. What should I expect?
You don’t need any previous experience with meditation, yoga, sound, Reiki, somatic practices, or coaching.
Most MBW experiences are designed to meet you exactly where you are. You’ll be invited to participate in ways that feel comfortable, and there is no expectation that you perform, get anything “right,” or have some huge breakthrough.
Come curious. Come comfortable. Come as you are.
How do I know which experience is right for me?
Start with what you’re craving.
If your mind won’t stop talking, you may enjoy a Sound Experience.
If you’ve been feeling disconnected from your body or need to move, explore Somatic Movement.
If you know something in your life needs to shift and you want space to think it through, Wellness Coaching may be a good fit.
If you need stillness and want to receive rather than do, consider Reiki & Energy Wellness.
And if you’re not sure?
That’s completely okay. Reach out and we’ll help you explore your options.
Is Mind and Body Wellness therapy?
No. Mind and Body Wellness is not psychotherapy or mental health treatment.
MBW offers embodied wellness experiences, coaching, movement, sound, energy work, community gatherings, retreats, and other intentional wellness practices.
Robyn’s clinical background informs the way MBW experiences are created, but MBW is intentionally separate from psychotherapy.
Do you offer private and group experiences
Yes.
Some experiences are available one-on-one, while others are offered through classes, circles, retreats, community gatherings, and special events.
Availability varies by offering, so check the Experiences and Events pages for current options.
Can I participate virtually?
Some offerings can be experienced virtually, while others are intentionally in person.
Wellness coaching and select integration or reflective support sessions may be available virtually. Sound, movement, Reiki, retreats, and community experiences may vary depending on the event.
What should I wear or bring?
Comfort is the assignment.
For movement, sound, retreats, and other embodied experiences, wear clothing that allows you to move and relax comfortably.
Depending on the experience, you may also want a yoga mat, blanket, pillow, journal, water, or anything else that helps you feel settled.
Specific details will always be provided before your experience.
What if I’m not flexible, spiritual, good at meditation, or “a wellness person”?
Perfect. You can still come.
You don’t have to touch your toes, quiet every thought, know anything about energy work, own matching yoga sets, or have a morning routine that starts at 5 a.m. MBW is about experiencing what actually feels supportive to you.
Less performing wellness. More actually feeling well.
How much do experiences cost?
Pricing varies by offering.
Individual experiences currently begin around:
Somatic Movement | from $25
Sound Experiences | from $30 group / $95 private
Reiki | $100
Wellness Coaching | $150
Wellness Collections | from $200
Retreat and event pricing varies depending on the experience.
What is integration coaching?
Integration coaching offers space to reflect on a meaningful personal, spiritual, or altered-state experience and consider what you want to carry forward into everyday life.
Sessions may include reflection, grounding, journaling, body awareness, values exploration, and practical next steps.
Can I come alone?
Absolutely.
People attend MBW experiences alone, with friends, with partners, and as part of a larger community.
You don’t need to know anyone before you arrive.
Sometimes showing up by yourself is part of the experience.
